Dr. Joshel Brown, Financial Advisor*
Having worked for seventeen years as a podiatrist, I am driven to help other physicians and professionals. Medical schools teach a lot about how to care for patients, but they don’t educate us on how to protect our incomes and run businesses. Looking back, I wish had known how to prioritize finances, the time value of money, and optimum steps of owning a practice – despite carrying student loan debt. Helping other professionals with this knowledge, as well as with teaching the many options to grow and protect businesses, is a high priority.
Proper planning and addressing potential obstacles is the greatest way to ensure success and confidence. Many advisors make recommendations without looking at their clients’ overall picture, which can lead to a false sense of security. By taking a balanced approach, clients are able to optimally grow, protect and keep their wealth.
